Our Practice
Building on several years of part time work, Spire architects was formally established as a full-time architectural practice in October 2017.
We are a boutique design practice based in Diamond Creek and we provide a comprehensive suite of architectural and building design services for both the residential and commercial markets.
No project is too big or too small. We have a wide variety of clients from all walks of life in both the residential and commercial sectors and we continue to work on large and small projects. We strive to meet our clients needs no matter the size of their project.
Our project experience over the last 18 years has taken us from simple decks and pergolas to more complex home extensions and renovations all the way to new factory refurbishments, to office fit outs, to small shopping centres and retail hubs.
Our passion is turning our clients’ dreams into reality through creating inspired designs for inspired people.

Our Team
Spire Architect’s principal is Robert Joyce who is a Registered Architect No# 18990 and a member of Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA). Rob holds degrees in both Project Management (Masters Degree – M.P.M.) as well as Architecture (Bachelor – B.Arch).
Rob has over 20 years’ experience in the building and construction industry from experiences in both architecture and project management fields. He is well positioned to provide professional advice and architectural services, but it is his commitment and passion from working with his clients to achieve their goals that sets him apart.
Working with Spire Architects
Working with Spire Architects is an easy collaborative process. We will skilfully guide you and your project through each project phase, from conceptual designs through to construction. Our typical process includes the following 6 stages:
- Concept Designs
- Developed Design (town Planning)
- Construction Documentation (Building Permit)
- Tender & Negotiations (Appointing a Builder)
- Construction Administration (Managing the building contract)
- Completion and Defects Liability
